Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment in satisfactory operating condition to achieve production and quality objectives.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and repairs, to minimize downtime and ensure maximum productivity.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment-related issues and optimize production processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certificate in industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in equipment maintenance on manual and CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including bearings, ball screws, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic systems, and lubrication systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand, disassemble, and rebuild machine components.
  • Capable of using levels, granite square, and column square to check and mechanically align a machine to original specifications.
  • Understanding of basic electrical schematics and ability to use digital voltmeters to follow electrical schematics and check components involved.
  • Ability to use an oscilloscope to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with CNC controls, including Siemens, Fanuc, and Heidenhain.
  • Capable of using control diagnostics to troubleshoot problems.
  • Knowledge of axis feedback systems, including inductosyn, resolver, encoder, and linear scales.
  • Familiarity with laser operation for linear accuracy checks and Renishaw ball bar for checking circularity.
