Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery specifically designed for woodworking, ensuring that all products adhere to quality standards and specifications.
  • Utilize Edgebander and Wood Dowel machines effectively.
  • Load materials onto machines, secure them properly, and adjust settings for optimal performance.
  • Maintain product specifications by monitoring operations, taking measurements, identifying malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, editing programs, and adhering to quality assurance protocols.
  • Read and interpret blueprints or design drawings to comprehend project specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning and lubricating components.
  • Troubleshoot CNC equipment issues and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Select and install appropriate tools, bits, and cutters for each task.
  • Calculate and set controls to manage machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and cutting depth and angle.
  • Maintain detailed records of operations, including materials used, machine settings, and final product dimensions.
  • Collaborate with team members, including designers and engineers, to enhance product designs for manufacturability.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and reduce the risk of errors or injuries.
  • Assist in managing inventory of materials, tools, and equipment utilized in CNC operations.


Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of CNC experience.
  • Experience in cabinetmaking is advantageous.
  • OSHA 10 Certification is preferred.
