Calibration Technician II

Key Responsibilities:

As a Calibration Technician II at SIG SAUER, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include testing and calibrating electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of precision measurement principles and techniques, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to colleagues and management.

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and precision. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is required, as well as a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel and extensive experience using either the Gagetrak calibration software or similar.
