Job Title: Calibration Technician II

At SIG SAUER, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician II to join our team. As a Calibration Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measurement systems.

Job Summary:

The Calibration Technician II will be responsible for testing and calibrating electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. This includes planning the sequence of testing and calibration procedures, setting up laboratory equipment, disassembling instruments, inspecting components, measuring parts, aligning and repairing component parts, and reassembling and calibrating instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute calibration procedures for instruments and equipment
  • Set up and operate laboratory equipment to test and calibrate instruments
  • Disassemble and inspect instruments and equipment for defects
  • Measure and verify the accuracy of instruments and equipment
  • Align and repair component parts and circuitry
  • Reassemble and calibrate instruments and equipment
  • Develop and implement solutions to measurement and calibration problems
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of measurement systems and calibration procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and wear personal protective equipment
