This role operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

  • Skilled in diagnosing equipment performance issues, analyzing problems, and implementing necessary repairs or modifications.
  • Exhibits a self-driven and proactive approach, capable of adapting to changes and collaborating effectively within a diverse team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in all maintenance activities, including breakdowns, rebuilds, modifications, and equipment startups.
  • Operate machinery to achieve production goals with a focus on throughput, efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Fulfill preventative maintenance obligations.
  • Support subcontractors in modifying and repairing existing equipment and in the introduction of new machinery.
  • Contribute to equipment and facility sanitation efforts.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing overall facility operations.
  • Provide insights and suggestions to the Maintenance Manager for enhancing equipment and facility operation processes.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards.
  • Take collective responsibility for tools, parts, and supplies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize resource use.
  • Maintain the maintenance shop to ensure safe working conditions, regulatory compliance, and proper care of company assets.
  • Keep all necessary certifications and licenses current.
  • Possess the physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 60 pounds, squat, bend, twist, and perform manual dexterity tasks, along with the visual acuity for quality assessments.
  • Manage HVAC filter changes and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct inspections of company vehicles and maintain detailed records.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, while keeping thorough records.
  • Empty dust collectors weekly.
  • Inspect fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Assess group homes for maintenance needs and keep records current.
  • Inspect forklift batteries monthly and maintain records.
  • Check ladders at all locations and keep records updated.
  • Possess basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, framing, and drywall installation and repair.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma plus five years of industrial maintenance or operations experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's license.
  • Must possess a clean driving record.
