Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Connestee Falls Property Association. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving construction, maintenance, and repairs to our common areas, community structures, facilities, parks, athletic courts, and equipment.

• Repair and maintain lawn mowers, trucks, and heavy equipment
• Plan and prioritize daily work tasks, including reviewing work requests and resolving questions
• Participate in our safety program, including mandatory safety training
• Operate a variety of equipment, including street sweepers, plows, and heavy equipment
• Perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and shoveling objects weighing up to 80 pounds

• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid state of NC driver's license
• 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, maintenance, or a related field
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and safety-sensitive environment

This is a full-time position, with a typical shift averaging 40 hours per week. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shift typically beginning at 7:30am and ending by 4pm. During emergency situations, work shift may exceed 10 hours a day.
