Job Summary:

The Transylvania County Campus Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in and around the facilities. This position performs various tasks, including cleaning, maintenance, and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain the appearance of building interiors by daily cleaning, including bathrooms, windows, dusting, and trash removal.
* Perform tasks such as shampooing carpets, waxing floors, and recycling materials.
* Assist faculty and staff in setting up classrooms and equipment for various functions.
* Maintain walkways and parking lots by picking up litter and removing snow and ice as needed.
* Perform regular maintenance of custodial equipment and replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and whiteboards as needed.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent and a valid NC driver's license are required.

Physical Demands:

The ability to perform all duties associated with the position, including lifting, standing, sitting, bending, and operating tools and machines.
