Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the Director of Executive Recruiting will develop and oversee the Samsung Semiconductor Talent Acquisition strategy for executive searches, encompassing candidate identification, engagement, and long-term relationship building. This role is vital to the long-term success of Samsung Semiconductor and will serve as a strategic ally to the company's executive leadership.

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote, with flexibility to operate from various locations.

  • Collaborate with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, and the Head of Talent Acquisition to identify talent gaps concerning current and future executive-level needs, and devise inclusive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier executive talent.
  • Provide expert guidance on all facets of executive recruitment to senior leaders across the organization, including customizing search strategies for critical business roles.
  • Work alongside the Head of People and HRBP team to identify succession gaps and potential candidates for current and future executive opportunities.
  • Consult with the Total Rewards team to understand executive compensation trends to effectively attract premier talent.
  • Engage with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leader to integrate inclusivity into every aspect of the executive search strategy.
  • Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of high-caliber candidates at various stages of readiness and experience.
  • Foster relationships with candidates through strategic interactions, including informal meetings.
  • Design and implement unique candidate engagement initiatives, such as networking events and executive forums.
  • Utilize data, industry trends, and feedback to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in all aspects of executive recruitment, including networking, candidate assessment, and offer negotiations.
  • Prepare and present executive hiring reports to regional and global leadership.
  • Position Samsung as a premier destination for high-performing talent within the semiconductor industry and beyond.
  • Proactively expand our talent network and partnerships within the industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with over 20 years of executive search experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in engaging and securing executive-level talent.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is essential.
  • Familiarity with staffing tools and systems (e.g., LinkedIn, Greenhouse) is required.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional ability to promote the company and attract talent.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A collaborative team player with a strong ethical compass and a sense of humor.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range below applies to all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on various factors, including the role's function and location, as well as the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
