About the Role:
As a Senior Associate in Hedge/Private Equity Fund Accounting, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse range of financial and accounting tasks for our Global Hedge Fund clientele. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and processing financial transactions and reports.
  • Applying accounting principles judiciously across various transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of cash balances, investment positions, and market values.
  • Process trades and liaise with auditors and tax preparers.
  • Review accruals and expense items, ensuring accuracy.
  • Gather and process corporate actions, confirming their validity.
  • Calculate and record fees associated with fund management.
  • Collaborate with investment managers and prime brokers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform analytical reviews of daily and monthly financial results.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics.
  • Master's Degree or CPA/CFA credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or financial services; experience with hedge funds is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
