Equities Middle Office – Trade Support
The Equities Middle Office plays a critical role in supporting the Equity Derivatives, Equity Financing, and Cash Equities trading desks. This role focuses on supporting the Equity Swap business by ensuring the smooth operation of trade capture and resolving any issues that may arise during the trade lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Capture & Accuracy: Collaborate with traders and counterparties to ensure accurate trade capture, resolve discrepancies, and address booking, P&L, or risk representation issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Technology, Product Control, Business Management, Market Risk, and Settlements teams to drive process improvements and implement system or product changes.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve trade breaks, system failures, or control issues that impact business operations.
- Risk Monitoring: Oversee key controls to mitigate risks, ensuring that the business adheres to internal and regulatory standards.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Provide timely assistance to traders and other departments regarding trade-related queries or operational issues.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in equity swaps or related products.
- Strong understanding of OTC equity derivatives, cash equities, and exchange-traded derivatives.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
