Job Title:

Business Development Manager - National Accounts

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager - National Accounts is a key role responsible for driving the development and execution of Mac Papers' National Accounts strategy. This includes overseeing Sales Directors and Account Managers, attaining sales targets, building distribution channels, and establishing national business relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the National Accounts strategy to drive business growth and revenue
  • Oversee Sales Directors and Account Managers to ensure effective execution of sales plans
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to develop goals and tasks to execute efficiency goals and needs
  • Manage and administer profitability models for all branches, including Wide Format & Graphics and MPEC packaging equipment and consumables
  • Develop and implement reseller agreements, distribution strategies, and other sales opportunities
  • Maximize work relationships with key wholesale and retail partners
  • Develop, manage, and nurture new business partnerships and accounts to accomplish volume and profit goals
  • Communicate program identity internally to pertinent key business collaborators, business units, and the customer support
  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and develop prospective customers
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Collaborate with equipment and consumable suppliers to target, assess, present, and close business
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Build strong relationships with corporate as well as branch key customers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent preferred
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales representative, or a relevant role
  • Ability to diagnose problems, analyze, and interpret complex data efficiently to make timely decisions
  • Strong leadership skills, a visionary thinker, a strategic planner, and a multi-tasker
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics
  • Fosters a respectful, positive, transparent, and collaborative environment
  • Ability to consistently stay positive and inspire passion and creativity in others
  • Displays humility, adaptability, unquestionable ethics, and integrity
  • A team player with the leadership skills to take initiative, establish a plan, and spark people's best thinking and work
  • Ability to manage, influence, and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions and businesses at every level of the company
  • Ability to manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners
  • Experience working on high-profile projects with senior-level visibility and engagement
  • Identifies broad impact of decisions and implications for people and teams
  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills
  • Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations
  • Must be able to work alone, and with a team
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
