Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical: Obtain relevant health and medical history, perform thorough physical assessments, and develop treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based pharmacological agents.
  • Education: Educate clients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up, and collaborate with clinicians and staff to promote continuity and patient-centered care.
  • Leadership: Provide instruction and guidance to physicians, house staff, and students, and participate in community outreach programs to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Professionalism: Interact with patients and families in a respectful and courteous manner, and collaborate with coworkers and other team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Quality/Research: Engage in daily continuous quality improvement, consult with management on clinical and system issues, and develop new clinical programs or services to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department.
  • DEA certification.
