Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Procurement Specialist to join our team at Strata Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing shop and operations with parts and supply needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place orders for shop and operations personnel, ensuring timely delivery of parts and supplies.
  • Order and manage inventory of shop supplies, truck parts, trailer parts, equipment parts, and other essential materials.
  • Process part returns, core credits, and warranty parts, maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Issue purchase order numbers and enter relevant coding information, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stock out inventory parts to work orders, units, and jobs, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ship, receive, pick up, and deliver parts to designated locations, ensuring timely and secure transportation.
  • Assist with inventory counts, monitoring stock levels and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, management, operations, and vendors to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Utilize communication tools, including voice mail, email, and internal software programs, to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Complete tasks as requested by supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
