Behavioral Support Specialist: OnPoint is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a full-time Behavioral Support Specialist. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and overseeing the execution of tailored behavior intervention plans for designated individuals, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary: starting at $64,874 annually - higher placement based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field that supports public and third-party reimbursement from an accredited institution required.
  • State of Michigan License or certification at the master's level (LARA) required.
  • At least one year of pertinent professional experience required. BCBA, LMSW, LPC, or LLP preferred.
  • Experience in developing behavior intervention plans preferred.
  • Experience within the public behavioral health system preferred.
  • Valued lived experiences with mental health issues, developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, or substance use disorders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and service providers to formulate supportive behavior intervention plans.
  • Establish a monitoring framework for each behavior plan.
  • Conduct ongoing training and data collection for each plan.
  • Present findings to the Behavior Treatment Committee as necessary.
  • Perform functional assessments and family training in clients' homes.
  • Document services in accordance with established protocols.
  • Engage in utilization management and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in supervision and team meetings.
  • Contribute to internal and external care coordination efforts, including interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT PROFICIENCY:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
