Role Summary: This position is a temporary contract role designed to assist with increased operational demands. The retail support specialist will aid in production by executing various responsibilities such as assembling skids, contributing to the mechanical assembly of bulk material handling equipment, performing drilling and tapping tasks, supporting the logistics department, and maintaining cleanliness within the facility.
Initial Training: New employees will begin with standard 8-hour shifts to acclimate to the workload, subsequently transitioning to extended shifts. Comprehensive training will be provided across multiple departments to ensure versatility in task support.
Shift Details: 1st Shift: 5 am to 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
Typical Weekly Hours: Overtime opportunities available.
Essential Skills- Mechanical Skills (Assembly, Carpentry, Mechanic)
- Proficiency in Drilling and Tapping
- Capability to Operate Hand and Power Tools
This is a contract role with a duration of 3 months.
Work EnvironmentThe retail support specialist will collaborate with other machine assemblers, panel builders, and supervisors in a family-oriented business that prioritizes quality. The workspace is well-maintained and organized, featuring clean floors and walls. A small showroom is available for customers to view final products before disassembly and shipment. The environment is designed to promote teamwork and effective communication.
