Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at OSI Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the accounts receivable operations team.
  • Ensure finances are accurate, timely, and reconciled in compliance with company policies and internal control procedures.
  • Assemble information and prepare documentation to issue unsaleable and customer return authorizations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile adjustments and suggest corrective action if needed.
  • Update and correct vendor maintenance transactions.
  • Perform weekly and month-end accounts receivable to general ledger balancing in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Analyze and balance the general ledgers AR accounts, AR write-offs/write-ins.
  • Balance daily and monthly cash receipts, applies, and records customer payments, and clears outstanding invoices and reconciles adjustments.
  • Maintain documentation of collection efforts and attempts to resolve deductions through written documentation with customers.
  • Prepare, process, and enter into SAP customer deductions by leveraging standardized work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, demonstrated teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Good math skills and demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies in accounting reports.
  • Ability to use customer websites to obtain specific customer documentation as required.
  • Computer literacy and expertise with spreadsheets, database, and word processing software, and automated accounting systems.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and SAP is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of invoicing procedures, unsaleables, chargebacks, system data, cash application, and credit & collection techniques.
  • Two years of experience or training in Rx chargebacks, cash application, unsaleable processing, or credit/collections.
