OnPoint is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Chief Operating Officer. This key leadership role will provide overall direction and oversight of the organization's program operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation
- Develop and oversee programs to fulfill OnPoint's responsibilities as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), a Community Mental Health Services Program (CMHSP), and a Homelessness Assessment and Response Agency (HARA) for Allegan County.
- Leadership and Supervision
- Meet regularly with the Executive Director for supervision and planning, serving as their principal advisor on program-related matters.
- Provide a positive model of proactive and responsive leadership for staff throughout the agency.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation
- Along with the Executive Director and CAO, provide leadership for strategic and organizational planning, daily decision-making, policy formation, and administrative implementation to fulfill the mission, vision, and values of OnPoint.
- Support continuous development and improvement of OnPoint's programs through quality improvement and innovation.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Assure that OnPoint programs adhere to all applicable regulations and standards, developing and overseeing plans of correction as applicable.
- Support all elements of OnPoint's compliance program.
- Communication and Representation
- Serve as primary staff representative to the Program Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Assist in the analysis of community needs, as invited, or requested, by responding to community needs assessments surveys and/or through dialogue with community leaders and agency partners.
- Operational Support
- Assist as assigned in the onboarding of newly appointed staff.
- Maintain consistent and regular attendance. Schedules time-off in advance.
- Education and Experience
- Master's degree in human services field, business administration, public administration, or other related field from an accredited educational institution required.
- Five to ten years management or supervisory experience required.
- Management experience in a public behavioral health agency in Michigan preferred.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Efficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Efficient in Electronic Medical Record system (EMR).
- Salary and Benefits
- Salary: starting at $122,127 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.
