Role Overview:
- REQ Solutions is seeking a talented Senior User Experience Designer to join our innovative team. The goal is to transform how users onboard, manage, and utilize their accounts.
- The Digital Experience and Customer Empowerment (DXC) team is dedicated to providing users with straightforward access to their accounts and services.
- As a member of the DXC team, you will craft intuitive and engaging digital experiences that facilitate customer success. By adhering to our core principles, you will make informed decisions throughout the customer journey, ensuring that their needs are met and outcomes are easily achievable.
- You will collaborate with colleagues across various departments to grasp customer demands, prioritize initiatives strategically, and create impactful experiences within intricate workflows, benefiting multiple business sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a cohesive end-to-end personalized platform experience.
- Contribute to and facilitate the creation of comprehensive UX deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Lead the information architecture, navigation, and workflow design of our offerings.
- Ensure a unified understanding of the information architecture and its objectives among leadership and teams.
- Influence system-level decisions for critical user tasks across products and teams.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and impact.
- Define actionable strategies that align business, technology, and customer priorities.
- Analyze industry data and research to identify gaps and proactively inform design efforts.
- Shape solutions through expertise in product, service, and platform knowledge.
- Present and advocate for your work and your team's contributions to stakeholders and peers.
- Provide constructive feedback on the designs of fellow team members.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful user experiences.
- Focus on the complete concept, envisioning both immediate and long-term success pathways.
- Promote and apply best practices in Accessibility and inclusive design.
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional experience in user experience design.
- Proven experience in designing for both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision.
- Technical proficiency in tools like Figma and Mural, with a focus on problem-solving approaches.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills that balance technical constraints with customer satisfaction.
- Critical thinking abilities that facilitate creative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex ideas into clear formats.
- Ability to visualize design solutions using various tools and fidelity levels.
- Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate design rationale and customer impact.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams, including designers, researchers, and content specialists.
- Comprehensive understanding of design thinking methodologies and best practices.
- Solid grasp of accessibility best practices and their implementation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Information, or a related field in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in agile and fast-paced development environments.
- Knowledge of effectively utilizing a centralized design system.
- In-depth understanding of self-service customer journeys, particularly in subscription models.
- Experience designing administrative functionalities, such as order, subscription, and user management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience with data and analytics to guide design decisions.
