About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high level of security and protection to our clients' facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control: Ensure that all individuals entering the facility have the necessary clearance and follow established protocols.
  • Visitor Processing: Process visitors for entry into the facility, ensuring that they are properly screened and cleared.
  • Inspections and Screenings: Conduct regular inspections and screenings of the facility and its surroundings to identify potential security threats.
  • Patrol and Response: Patrol the facility and respond to any security incidents or alarms in a timely and effective manner.
  • Directing Traffic: Direct traffic and ensure that all individuals are aware of and comply with security protocols.
  • Monitoring and Operating Security Systems: Monitor and operate security and safety systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
  • Reporting Incidents: Report any incidents or security breaches to management and take necessary action to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years of armed security experience.
  • Language: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Work Environment and Schedule

The Armed Security Officer will work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors. The position requires prolonged standing and walking, and may involve working in high-risk environments. The officer will be required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime as directed.
