Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations and quality control, ensuring efficiency and compliance with aviation standards, including ATA 106 and Spec 300.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive training and cross-training programs to enhance team capabilities and adaptability.
  • Process Improvement: Drive technological enhancements to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Implement advanced communication tools and strategies to ensure clear and effective departmental and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify operational issues and develop tools and systems to prevent future problems.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to aviation quality standards, potentially including the management of ASA Quality audits and the development of Quality Control Manuals.
Management Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: 4-6 Direct Reports across Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, Inventory with a total team of approximately.

Qualifications
  • Operational Leadership Experience: Proven experience in operational leadership, preferably in aviation or manufacturing sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation industry standards (ATA 106, Spec 300) and quality audit procedures; experience in a Surplus Parts environment is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience with building operational tools and trackers.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams and interfacing effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
