About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our Corporate Communications team at Worldpay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans to support the business goals of our Chief Technology Office (CTO) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the CTO team to deliver communications for people programs
  • Develop and manage the execution of strategic communication plans and the implementation of communications tactics
  • Advise senior management on communications initiatives to support company objectives
  • Manage the development, production, and implementation of internal communications
  • Consult with internal clients to develop appropriate communications solutions and utilize communications methods and techniques to develop strategic approaches to meet client objectives
  • Analyze communications policies, procedures, and standards for efficiency and effectiveness based on the needs of the target audiences and select appropriate communications vehicles
  • Determine the need for and content of graphics to explain and enhance written materials and edit materials for content, grammar, format, etc.
  • Gain approval on materials from appropriate personnel, review final copy of materials to ensure correctness and readiness for production, and arrange for production and distribution of materials
  • Coordinate projects by determining project scope, deadlines, and resources
  • Meet with internal customers requesting communications to gather information, e.g., purpose/message of materials, method of communications, and tone/image of materials, and make recommendations on the organization, style, etc.
  • Direct the development of communications vehicles, e.g., management briefs, videos, special events, verbal and written presentations
  • Coordinate projects and oversee all phases of production, e.g., planning, writing, producing with internal/external vendors. May negotiate contracts with vendor management to support communications needs, objectives, budget, and time frames.
  • Conduct surveys to obtain feedback from employees regarding CTO communications
  • Coach company representatives to maximize the effectiveness of their presentations to internal audiences
  • Be a student of the business and over time learn how the CTO function works and supports the success of the wider Worldpay COO function and overall enterprise
  • Perform staff leadership role and promote motivation through effective management and mentoring
  • Maintain budget as required and ensure all financial objectives and expectations are met
  • Maintain history file of communications
  • Support content and agenda in conjunction with CTO leadership office
  • Other related duties assigned as needed
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proven communication planning, execution, and measurement
  • Ability to influence and partner within organization
  • High energy and positive attitude to work with varying stakeholders and get them through to the "final mile" of action and outcomes
  • Persistent and relationship-focused
  • Experience in technical communication
  • Ability to respond to assignments with little or no notice, manage shifting priorities, and operate in ambiguity
  • Must have the ability to handle conflicts and successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Must be able to exercise sound judgment independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Some limited travel may be required
  • Email marketing experience, preferably Marketo is preferred
