TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Pc Technical Support Specialist to join a large-scale project aimed at transforming the operational infrastructure of 700 branches nationwide. Our current system is based on an outdated AS400 platform, and we are transitioning to a modern Windows-based system, promising a significant enhancement in efficiency with a 50% increase in output.
Pilot ProjectThe role will commence with a pilot project starting next month, running through December, involving 13 branches. The successful candidate will be instrumental in learning and refining the build process through direct calls with branches and hands-on configuration tasks.
Main RolloutIn January, the project will escalate to include the first wave of 70 branches. Responsibilities will include following detailed documentation for building machines, preparing for deployment, and providing support to branch locations throughout this critical phase.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot PC-related issues effectively.
- Adhere strictly to provided instructions while also being proactive in learning new processes.
- Play a pivotal role in establishing build processes from the ground up.
- Identify any gaps within existing procedures and contribute valuable insights for improvement.
