About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at RMA Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining patient satisfaction by answering patient phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to non-clinical requests from patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a professional and composed manner
  • Answer patient phone calls and respond to their inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating patient demographic, financial, and insurance information
  • Collect co-pays and patient payments in a secure and efficient manner
  • Work with the nurses to coordinate total patient care and ensure seamless communication
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure all reimbursement/insurance information has been received
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (GED) required; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year as a medical office receptionist or customer service representative
  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • High level of listening skills and ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
  • Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment and adapt to changing priorities
