Job Title: Staff Radiation Effects

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Staff Radiation Effects professional to join our team. As a Staff Radiation Effects, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and analysis of complex electronic products for space systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiation effects analysis, shielding analysis, and survivability analysis of electronic components and systems.
  • Develop and implement radiation testing plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with radiation requirements and regulations.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to internal and external customers.
  • Interface with multiple disciplines to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • 12 years of experience in radiation effects design and analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge of physics associated with radiation effects in semiconductor devices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship and active or current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Experience with radiation tools such as NOVICE, AE9AP9, CRÈME, SPENVIS, etc.
  • CAD modeling experience with Creo Parametric.
