Job Title: Program Manager

At Carelink Career Page, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our programs, ensuring the implementation of our agency mission, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement daily program operations, ensuring the health and welfare of service participants.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement individual service plans, designed to improve the social and self-care skills of service participants.
  • Oversee referrals to the program, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Coordinate and develop services to meet individual needs, working closely with staff and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on program expenditures, ensuring compliance with budget requirements.
  • Process all necessary paperwork related to service participant program status, including admission and discharge information.
  • Ensure that all staff documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Handle liaison responsibilities with appropriate entities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing support and guidance to staff and service participants as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with persons with ID and/or autism, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons with ID and/or autism.
  • Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience required.
  • CPR certification preferred; Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of psychotropic medications, their uses and side effects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of methods of psychiatric rehabilitation.
  • Ability to work as a leader and provide training and supervision to staff.
  • Motivation, interest, and ability to work empathetically with people who have disabilities (intellectual/ developmental, mental illness, physical, emotional, cognitive, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments.
  • Ability to exercise judgment.
  • Ability to make sound judgments regarding the health and welfare of service participants.
  • Willingness and ability to drive agency vehicle.
  • Willingness and ability to handle on-call duties.
Physical and Environmental Job Requirements:
  • Sitting – required to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
  • Standing – required to remain on feet in an upright position for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
  • Walking – required to walk considerable distances in the facility during the course of work.
  • Lifting – required to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly.
  • Carrying – required to carry objects in arms or on the shoulder.
  • Pulling – required to exert force up to 20 lbs. so that an object can be moved towards employee.
  • Climbing – required to climb and work in overhead areas.
  • Balancing – required to move between objects or work in overhead areas.
  • Stooping – required to bend forward by bending at the waist.
  • Kneeling – required to move or support self on knees.
  • Crouching – required to bend the legs or spine.
  • Crawling – required to work in confined space and move about on hands and knees.
  • Reaching – required to use hands and arms to reach for or place objects.
  • Feeling – required to discriminate between varying textures.
  • Grasping – required to pick up objects with fingers.
  • Substantial Movements – required to perform substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Eye, Hand, Foot Coordination – required to coordinate the eyes, hands, feet with each other in response to visual stimuli.
  • Motor Coordination Skills – required to coordinate eyes, hands, and fingers rapidly and accurately and handle precise movements.
  • Color Determination – required to identify colors through vision.
  • Near Acuity – required close, clear vision with or without correction.
  • Depth Perception – required to distinguish depth.
