Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and ensure that care is being delivered in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including falls, injuries, or illnesses.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices, new policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
