Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our Proton Therapy team at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license or multistate RN license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a RN, with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven project management skills and committee experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide feedback to staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Active nursing specialty certification with a Fred Hutch-recognized certification.
  • Outpatient experience preferred.
