Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales of electrical distribution and control products within the Electrification Smart Buildings group in line with the division strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned electrical contractors and end users, at all levels of their organizations.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin; motivate Electrical Contractors and end users to prefer ABB Industrial Solutions over the competition.
  • Perform analysis on hit-rate data and provide market feedback to business and sales leadership.
  • Introduce new products via technical presentations to existing customer base and identify target customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college and 5 years of technical sales experience OR High School Diploma and 8 years of technical sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling multi-family projects to electrical contractors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
