Job Summary

As a Signal Support Systems Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for integrating signal systems and networks, performing signal support functions, and maintaining radio and data distribution systems. You will also be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining radio and data distribution systems, as well as providing technical assistance and training for automation and communications equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain radio and data distribution systems
  • Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems
  • Provide technical assistance and training for local area networks
  • Maintenance for equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators

Requirements

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
