Job Description

Model Remodel, a reputable general contractor, is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter - Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing all crew carpenters, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Supervision: Oversee all aspects of project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Project Budgets & Schedules: Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Promote Clean, Safe Job Sites: Ensure all job sites are clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Establish Good Working Relationships: Foster positive relationships with team members, clients, designers, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and support crew.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments, and carpentry techniques.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Meetings: Actively participate in and conduct meetings as requested.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in residential remodeling.
  • Green/sustainable building experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of general remodel carpentry and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
