We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager for a significant contract opportunity. This role offers long-term potential and is based in a hybrid work environment. Below is an overview of the position and its responsibilities.

Job ID:

Compensation: $70 - $73/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave, depending on work location.

Reporting Structure: The selected candidate will report to designated project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and synchronize CMC sub-teams to ensure alignment with overarching project objectives and timelines. Act as the primary liaison for subteam management, fostering clear communication and collaboration among all involved parties.
  • Collaborate with project, functional, and work stream leaders to successfully meet project goals.
  • Utilize project management expertise across multiple subteams concurrently.
  • Create and uphold comprehensive CMC project plans, encompassing resource allocation, risk management, and timeline oversight.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and initiative to guarantee projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Track and report on project activity progress, ensuring all milestones are achieved and addressing any deviations promptly. Identify and mitigate issues and risks.
  • Facilitate all project team meetings and participate in related project discussions as necessary to maintain alignment.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage project deliverables effectively.
  • Provide updates and communicate project status to organizational leadership.
  • Assess and evaluate project outcomes through regular after-action reviews.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in project management and CMC support, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage intricate projects in a dynamic setting.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Essential Skills: Project Management, Drug Development Processes, Pharmaceutical Knowledge.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in biotech/life sciences project management; experience in cell therapy is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Life Sciences-related field.
  • Project management certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Project, Office Timeline Pro, Smartsheet, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong understanding of the biopharma industry, with familiarity in end-to-end CMC drug development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively across functions with matrixed teams, maintaining strong business partner relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and executive presence, with the ability to positively influence project outcomes.
  • Expertise in conflict resolution.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to adapt and respond to the needs of a dynamic work environment.
