About the Role

The Operations Coordinator for Racial Equity Initiatives will provide essential support to our AVPREI in implementing racial equity initiatives and preserving cross-sector partnerships.

This position requires a high level of organization, analytical skills, and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate workflow to support the implementation of racial equity initiatives.
  • Assist AVPREI with the preservation of cross-sector partnerships that engage public, private, and nonprofit institutions.
  • Keep abreast of racial equity work of the Foundation and community as needed.
  • Manage and maintain all administrative files related to these initiatives.
  • Prepare and proof documents and correspondence.
  • Provide administrative coordination and support for specialized initiatives.
  • Reconcile expense reports monthly.
  • Assist with reviews of grants awarded to the Community Foundation.
  • Reviews emails and triages emails per established process, and voicemails.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of meeting agendas, gather, and distribute materials, send reminders, confirm attendance, create table tents, keep attendance, and communicate with partner support staff when needed.
  • Assemble and store official materials from meetings for permanent records.

Requirements:

  • Two-year degree required. Four-year degree preferred or equivalent career experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience working with and supporting busy organizational leaders.
  • Advanced proficiency of computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Planner, MS Forms, internet searches, virtual platforms, and webinars.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Problem solver.
  • Strong aptitude for new technologies and utilizing systems that promote efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary: $60,000 - $64,000
