Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our CVICU. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and provide a safe and supportive environment for our patients and families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including STEMI, LVAD implantation, cardiogenic shock, AAA, CABG, valve, TAVR, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and manage patient medications, including titration and administration of vasopressors, inotropes, and other medications as needed.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed.
- Document patient care and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current and valid nursing license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum one year of recent, full-time bedside experience in a Cardiovascular ICU or CVICU.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical documentation and Microsoft Office.
