We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Instructional Specialist to join our team at the University of Central Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the classroom and leading educational activities for children. This is a 12-month, non-tenure earning position that requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities to promote children's language, social/emotional, cognitive, and fine/gross motor skills.
- Guide interns and volunteers in their interactions with children and delegate tasks as needed.
- Supervise children and implement the curriculum in accordance with the school's educational philosophy and mission.
- Ensure the safety of children and meet their needs in a warm and friendly environment.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Project Approach and National Accreditation Standards.
