Position Overview

The Catering Service Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of catering orders and events. This position involves assisting the event operations team with various tasks, including setting up events, transporting necessary supplies, serving guests, and managing clean-up after events.

COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role ranges from $10.00 to $21.08, reflecting Aramark's good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare catering setups and event services according to client specifications and event orders.

• Safely transport and deliver food and beverage items along with essential supplies and equipment.

• Arrange chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other equipment as outlined in the event order.

• Replenish food and beverage items throughout the event.

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of food service areas during events.

• Collect and clean up food and beverage items after service.

• Dismantle and clean the area following the conclusion of events, returning equipment to designated storage.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all attendees.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications


• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

• Experience in catering is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Compliance with the assigned dress code is required.

• Availability to work during events is essential.

• Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training is necessary.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
