Position Overview:

Q2 is in search of a Program Manager responsible for overseeing the implementation of ongoing projects. This role involves close collaboration with clients to install and support our comprehensive suite of products. The Program Manager will engage in a hybrid capacity, balancing project management with technical implementation, overseeing complex client engagements at an enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clients through the project lifecycle, clearly articulating implementation goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external clients, planning and managing project tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend business requirements and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, documenting all aspects including deliverables, change control, action items, issues, and risk assessments.
  • Utilize project management tools to manage resources effectively, adhering to established workflows and processes.
  • Gather necessary information for project deliverables and approvals.
  • Direct project resources to ensure timely task completion.
  • Work closely with clients and teams to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Communicate project status verbally and in writing to both clients and internal teams.
  • Identify project risks and issues, driving the execution of mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in project and client meetings, taking detailed notes and coordinating subsequent actions.
  • Coordinate and support resources during onsite and milestone activities.
  • Deliver solutions within set timelines while adhering to Q2 project standards.
  • Oversee the successful transition of clients from implementation to go-live.
  • Ensure projects are concluded effectively, transitioning clients to support services.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP or PMI preferred).
  • Understanding of enterprise software deployment architectures and methodologies.
  • Experience in creating documentation and project plans using tools like Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to manage client expectations with a client-first approach.
  • Skilled in organizing and executing multifaceted software deployments.
  • Capable of assessing project risks and implementing mitigations.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to business-oriented teams.
  • Exhibit strong project leadership qualities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Ability to maintain composure and diplomacy under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% to client locations.
  • Experience in financial services and enterprise software is preferred.
