Position Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the fundamental operation, upkeep, installation, and service of manufacturing systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols consistently and report any identified safety risks.
  • Diagnose, install, lubricate, replace, and repair machinery and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Fabricate components and assemble machinery as necessary.
  • Interpret blueprints, instruction manuals, and schematics.
  • Record work order progress utilizing the company's maintenance tracking system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections during equipment startup and shutdown.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Regular on-site attendance is crucial for fulfilling the outlined duties and responsibilities.
  • If designated as a lead, the individual will serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact in their area of responsibility; assist the supervisor with daily reports and crew assignments; provide breaks; and offer training. Additionally, leads may be tasked with managing inventory levels and coordinating work with vendors and contractors as needed.
Position Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Two years of relevant experience or successful completion of the Millwright Trainee program.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in welding, cutting, fitting, lubrication, troubleshooting equipment and systems, and component maintenance.
  • Possess essential tools related to the trade.
  • Exhibit strong mechanical aptitude with a foundational understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to comply with all company, state, and federal safety regulations while performing job duties.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal history check and drug screening.
Work Environment:

Employees may encounter dust, noise, trip hazards, and varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Required Personal Protective Equipment:

Individuals must be prepared to wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Specific roles may require additional PPE at certain times. Examples of PPE may include high visibility garments, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, hard hats, foot protection, and face shields.
