Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - Cardiothoracic ICU position at Atrium Health Charlotte is a critical care nursing role that requires a high level of skill and expertise. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), utilizing advanced assessment and critical thinking skills to identify and prioritize patient needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects and analyzes patient data to identify actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Coordinates care delivery and delegates tasks to appropriate healthcare workers.
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside.
