Responsibilities

As a critical care nurse specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and medication administration
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• One year of experience in critical care nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state of NC
• Ability to manage cardiac patients and previous experience caring for critical care patients
• Knowledge of EKG rhythms and ability to manage cardiac drips, chest tubes, and incision sites
