About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Senior Manager to join our team at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize cost, rationalize the supply base, and bring value to the Corporation while mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of Procurement for assigned categories globally, leading negotiations of procured materials and services to assure optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation) achieved.
  • Promoting high-level customer satisfaction in supporting the needs of Divisional projects & requirements for Purchasing guidance & leadership.
  • Participating in the planning and forecasting process to establish standard costs and provide explanations for price variances at Division level.
  • Participating and may lead change management efforts while creating true alignment & integration internally and externally, acting as an internal consultant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting or applicable field of study OR in lieu of degree, applicant must have 10+ years of Procurement experience specific to Professional Services categories and/or Contingent Workforce program management.
  • 8+ years in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment with appropriate business experience (2 yrs minimum experience in Management Consulting Procurement or similar Procurement).
  • 5+ yrs project management, execution of or participation in large, multiple or cross-functional projects (may have been done concurrently with Purchasing/Supply Chain experience).
  • Proven experience and success in leading major cost savings initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of industries for assigned categories.
  • Good understanding of material functionality, material flow and handling to optimize supply chain effectiveness.
  • Mccormick product and business knowledge. Knowledge of Company priorities and strategic direction.
  • Ability to assess and analyze moderately complex business opportunities.
  • Ability to deal with diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Project Management Professional.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business or related field.
  • CPM or APICS certification.

Base Salary: $100,870 to $176,480

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
