Job Summary

The Langham, Boston is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Food and Beverage team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our service standards and revenue goals are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction meet our high standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including payroll, inventory, and revenue projections.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions that drive revenue and customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure that all supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage management in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant.
  • Certifications: ServSafe Alcohol and/or TIPS certification.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Micros POS and F&B menu management.
