Role SummaryAn esteemed ambulance service provider is in search of a dedicated individual to fill the role of Emergency Care Attendant Trainee. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of basic life support equipment, safe operation of the ambulance, and effective management of supplies and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver prompt and effective basic life support care within the scope of licensure or certification, adhering to established protocols prior to patient transport.
- Ensure careful handling of patients during transitions to and from the ambulance.
- Facilitate safe and efficient patient transport to medical facilities.
- Document and report necessary repairs to maintenance departments for both electronic and mechanical issues to supervisors and other personnel as required.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
- A valid Driver's License is required; candidates must be capable of driving larger vehicles under various conditions.
- Completion of a 10-day training program will lead to Emergency Care Attendant certification.
- Strong attention to detail along with effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
- All training, ECA courses, and National Registry examination fees will be covered by the organization.
