Position Overview:

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is crucial in guiding SanMar's ongoing growth and success through our investment in Elcatex Apparel Group. This role involves analyzing market dynamics and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the organization's sales performance while aligning Elcatex's sales goals with overall business, product, and profitability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer the development of national and retail brand accounts alongside the Elcatex team.
  • Create actionable sales strategy recommendations by thoroughly analyzing market data, customer insights, and current market trends, optimizing the investment's nearshore benefits.
  • Establish brand collaborations to unlock new opportunities across vital retail channels.
  • Oversee external communications and marketing initiatives to stakeholders, reinforcing Elcatex's strategies and our capacity to make a significant impact.
  • Advocate for change, lead initiatives, propose solutions to eliminate barriers to constructive change, inspire and mentor team members, and drive urgency and results.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 10 years in progressively responsible leadership positions within the apparel sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development, sales, customer experience, cross-functional collaboration, results orientation, and effective communication.
  • Experience across product design, creation, and planning functions, including merchandising, business analytics, brand management, demand planning, and product development at a leading brand or retailer.
  • Strong ethical character that is credible and authentic.
  • Proven ability to influence effectively, build trust, communicate, and connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Robust business and financial acumen.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: Competitive annual salary between $160,000 - $220,000, commensurate with experience.

Bonus: Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 20% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: Accrual of paid time off on a bi-weekly basis, starting at up to 152 hours per year, along with 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
