About the Role

At SanMar, we're seeking a highly skilled IT Vendor Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure a productive and collaborative partnership.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Vendor Performance Monitoring: Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of vendor management and purchasing professionals, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies, and drive initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining or improving the quality of goods and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in vendor management software and tools.

  • Competitive Salary: Salary range of $105,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 15% of base salary.
