Fiber Optic Network Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Fiber Optic Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic cables, ensuring connections are secure and performing at optimal levels.
Key Responsibilities- Splice and test fiber optic cables to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with fiber optic cables and connections
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including fusion splicers and OTDR testers
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of safety procedures and industry standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution
- Proficiency with fiber optic cable installation and maintenance
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and industry standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
