This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong organizational and analytical skills. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Processing: Accurately enter and process invoices into our Merchandise Payables system.
- Invoice Matching and Verification: Manually match invoices to receipts and verify their accuracy.
- Chargeback and Claim Management: Determine necessary chargebacks, freight claims, and overage/shortage write-offs to balance invoices for payment.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and resolve over/short variances at a purchase order level by completing transactions that generate stock ledger adjustments.
- Vendor Management: Identify potential vendor chargebacks to recover shortages.
- Reporting and Special Projects: Prepare and issue daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for internal and external management, as well as manage special projects as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (Associates degree acceptable).
- Skills: Strong organizational and follow-through skills, strong communication skills, strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office), strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently as well as a team.
