Automotive Service Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and technical Automotive Service Specialist to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As an Installer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing the needs of professional customers through our store's installer counter. This role requires strong communication skills, a background in mechanics, and the ability to work effectively with installers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with installers and professional customers to develop sales relationships and provide superior service.
- Take customer orders over the phone and online, invoice customer orders, and direct efforts to accurately pick and stage parts for delivery.
- Route delivery specialists to ensure customers receive their orders in a consistent and timely manner.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards.
- Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store.
- Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and make sure all returns are tagged/labeled correctly.
- Assist with customer labor claims, making sure they are processed quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Strong background in mechanics.
- Above average communication skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs (desired).
- ASE Certification (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
