We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our Marketing and Membership team at the American Medical Association. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and closing sales for our group practice memberships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a consultative approach, advocating the value of AMA membership to group practice leaders.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to clearly articulate the value of AMA membership and close new sales agreements.
  • Manage the sales cycle, track opportunities, and provide customer feedback to inform sales processes.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to analyze growth opportunities and post-mortem lost deals.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales or business development, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to articulate business value and identify and address common objections.
  • Able to build relationships at all levels of a mid-size corporation.
  • Up to 40% travel required.
