Position Overview:

The Administrative Analyst within the Government Operations sector plays a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). This position is responsible for conducting in-depth analyses and providing technical support for various projects and initiatives aimed at fulfilling the agency's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive policy and data analyses to support the Agency's initiatives, including the Clean Transit SF Program.
  • Engage in the evaluation of energy usage data to assist in the development of an Energy Efficiency Action Plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring informed decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed management reports that outline findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform resource planning and trend analysis to identify needs and develop best practices.
Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and have at least one year of professional-level analytical experience. A graduate degree in a relevant field may substitute for the required experience.

Desirable Skills:

Ideal candidates will have experience in data analysis, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in data analysis software. A background in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives is also preferred.
