Position Overview

The Department of Medicine is seeking a dedicated faculty physician to deliver primary care services within a community-oriented practice environment in Monroe County.

This role involves collaborating with a dynamic network of Primary Care professionals who operate under a patient-centered medical home framework. The practice utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records system, and comprehensive training will be provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess an MD or equivalent degree.
  • Must secure NYS Medical licensure prior to commencement.
  • Eligibility for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
  • Must fulfill all credentialing prerequisites.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible status is required.
  • Post-offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment are mandatory.
  • Compliance with University and New York State health regulations is essential.

Candidates will be required to obtain an individual DEA and complete a post-offer health assessment and drug test at the designated University health site.

The stated salary range reflects the University's good faith estimate of the base compensation for this faculty role. Individual salaries will be determined based on market data, experience, and expertise, as well as related position salaries. Clinical incentive-based compensation may also be discussed during the hiring process.
